We are over on Nageswaran South Street at number 42. It’s a pretty quiet area in Kokkur if you compare it to the bigger towns nearby. Balaji House Products has been around for some time now. We sell the kind of things people actually need for their daily lives at home. Pots, pans, and all those small bits and pieces that make a kitchen work properly. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights. Things are usually piled up a bit high, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Most of our customers are just neighbors who walk over from the nearby houses. We usually talk about the weather or the local news while they pick out what they need. It’s a slow pace of life here and we like it that way. Sometimes the new stock takes a while to arrive from the city distributors. We just wait it out and keep the shop open. The building is quite old and has its own little quirks. The front door tends to stick during the hot summer months. We don’t really mind. It feels like home to us. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the very first day. They know all the regulars by their names. No fancy uniforms or corporate badges here. Just plain clothes and a bit of a friendly chat. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around. Just a steady spot on the street.
