Ashwin Foods

Ashwin Foods is located at 697 Bhagwan Mahaveer Street in Arakkonam. It’s an old street, and our building has been here for quite some time. We deal with food products, mostly bulk stuff that comes in big containers. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible inside. It’s not a showroom; it’s more like a warehouse that sells things. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We are too busy moving boxes and checking orders. Arakkonam can get very hot, so we have a few fans going all day, but it still gets stuffy. We have a small crew of people from the nearby houses who help us with the loading. We don't have a big corporate story. We just needed a way to earn a living and started this food business. It’s hard work and the hours are long. Most of our customers are other local shopkeepers who come to pick up their weekly supplies. We know the street like the back of our hand. If you come by, you’ll likely see us sitting on the steps during our lunch break. It’s just a normal part of the town. We don't have any big plans for expansion. We just want to keep things running steady for as long as we can without making things complicated.
