We've been at No. 24 Alagesan Road for a while now. 82 East Consulting Llp is just a small group of us working out of Vedachalam Nagar. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Most days it's just coffee and desks piled with papers. We started this because we knew how to handle the work and figured we might as well do it on our own terms. People find us mostly because someone else told them to come by. The road can get a bit busy during the afternoons so parking is sometimes a headache, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It's not glamorous stuff, really. Just the usual day-to-day tasks that keep a business moving along. We try to keep things straightforward. If you walk in, you'll probably see us mid-conversation about a project. We don't have a big reception area or a person dedicated to answering the door. Usually, whoever is closest just gets up. Vedachalam Nagar is a decent spot to be based, close enough to things but quiet enough to actually get some thinking done. We've got our routine down. It’s mostly about getting the job done without making a big fuss over it. That’s how we like it. There’s usually a pile of mail on the front table and the printer makes a weird noise, but we get the papers out eventually.
