Tokai Rubber

Tokai Rubber is set up at 182 in the Harohalli Industrial Area. It’s a big, busy place with lots of different units, but we have made ourselves at home in this particular spot. The building is quite large to fit all the equipment we need for the rubber work. Every morning, we come in and get the machines warmed up. The noise can be a bit much once everything is running, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are usually in our work clothes, dealing with the raw materials and the finished products. The office part is just a small room with a desk, a telephone, and some ledgers. We don't spend much time in there unless there is paperwork that really needs doing. Harohalli is a bit of a drive for some of us, but we don’t mind the commute. The area has changed a lot since we first started, with more units popping up all the time. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when several trucks arrive at once, but we manage to get through it. It is just a regular day of work for us.
