We’ve been at Plot No. 127 for a while now. It’s right on Old Kamthi Road in the Vaishno Devi Nagar area. If you’re coming from the main part of town, you just look for Hursun Medical Store because we’re really close to that. My desk is usually covered in papers and parts because things get busy here fast. Most days start with a cup of tea and looking over what needs fixing or which orders need to go out. V K Sales And Services isn't a big fancy showroom with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the job done. The neighborhood is okay, though traffic on the main road can get a bit loud during the afternoons. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since the medical store is such a well-known landmark around here. We try to keep things organized but sometimes tools end up where they shouldn't be. That’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands all day. We deal with various sales and service tasks, mostly focused on what the local folks need. It’s a bit dusty outside because of the road work that seems to happen every few months, but inside we keep at it. I've lived around here long enough to know most of the faces that walk by. It’s not a complicated life. We open up in the morning, stay until the work is finished, and then head home.
