Xeuji Foundation

Started here in Dharapur Majaoli a while back. We are on the third floor of Nirman Apartment, specifically unit 301. It’s in Block II. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, but we don't mind the stairs too much. The area around here in Guwahati is usually busy. You can see the traffic from the window. We mostly just keep to ourselves and get through the paperwork and meetings we have scheduled. It isn’t a fancy place, just a regular apartment building where people live and work. We have some desks and chairs shoved into the rooms. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea. Most of the folks around here know us now. We’ve been in Kamrup for some time. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and there are files everywhere. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running. It’s just a group of us trying to stay organized. Usually, someone brings in snacks from the local market down the road. It’s nothing special, just a place where we do what needs doing. Some days are quieter than others. If you come by, you might hear the neighbors’ kids playing in the hallway. That’s just how it is in this block. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It feels like home to most of us. We've been here long enough that the security guard knows our names.
