Transparency North East Foundation

Transparency North East Foundation is located at House Number 29 on Milan Tirtha Path. We are in the Chiring Chapori area, which is quite close to the university. It is a simple house where we have set up our operations. The neighborhood is usually full of students and local families. We like being in Chiring Chapori because it feels like the heart of the community. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a front room with some desks and chairs where we handle our daily business. We started the foundation to be a local presence here. People walk by on Milan Tirtha Path all the time and sometimes they peek in to see what we are up to. We aren't trying to be fancy or sound like a big international organization. We are just a few people from the North East who wanted to have a place to work from. The university being nearby means there is always something happening around us. Sometimes we sit out on the porch to talk about our plans for the next month. It is a quiet street mostly, which helps us get things done without too much distraction. House number 29 is our home base, and we are happy to be part of the Chiring Chapori neighborhood. We keep things pretty straightforward and honest in how we run the foundation day after day, just trying to be useful where we can.
