Suresh Store

You can find Suresh Store right on G S Road in the Sixmile area of Khanapara. Guwahati is a big city, but our corner feels like its own little world sometimes. Being on G S Road means there’s always something happening outside our door. Cars rushing by, people walking to the bus stop, and the general hum of the city. We’ve been operating here for a while, just doing our thing and helping out the locals. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We stock the kind of things you realize you need at the last minute. It’s not a place where you’d spend an hour browsing, but it gets the job done. We try to keep the prices fair and the shelves full, though sometimes the popular stuff sells out faster than we expect. The shop interior is simple, with wooden shelves that have been here since we opened. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we all pitch in to help. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a corporate manual. We just talk to people like they’re our neighbors, which most of them are. Sometimes the rain in Guwahati makes things a bit messy, but we just mop the floor and keep going. It’s a good spot to be, and we appreciate everyone who chooses to stop here instead of going to one of those big malls. We’re just a small part of the Khanapara landscape and we like it that way.
