Sri Ram Consumer Products

Sri Ram Consumer Products is located over in Joya Nagar, right off G.S. Road in the Sixmile area. If you know Guwahati, you know how busy it gets around here. Our spot is usually filled with boxes and crates because we handle a lot of different goods that people use every day. It’s not a quiet place, especially with all the traffic coming off the main road. Most of the morning is spent unloading trucks and sorting through what came in. We have a small team here. We mostly just focus on getting things to the local shops and making sure our inventory is right. Sometimes the heat makes the warehouse a bit uncomfortable, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been in this part of Sixmile for a bit now. People stop by to check on orders or just to see what’s new in stock. It’s a practical business, nothing flashy. We use every bit of space we have in this building to store products. The desks are usually covered in ledgers and delivery slips. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking lists. We don’t have much time for sitting around. When the sun goes down, we finally get to close up the shutters and head home, only to do it all again the next day.
