Shantinath Travels is based in Bara Bazar, which is part of the Pandu area in Guwahati. If you’ve ever been down Pandu Road toward Maligaon, you know how packed and noisy it can get. We are right in the thick of it. The market is always buzzing with people buying vegetables and household items, and we are just another part of that daily scenery. We spend our days tucked away in our office, surrounded by stacks of paperwork and the sound of the street outside. Our main focus is getting people where they need to go, whether that’s a short trip or something much longer across the state. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to get the work done. Maligaon is a busy hub, and being close to the railway station means we see a lot of travelers who are just passing through. We’ve learned to be quick with our work because people in Bara Bazar are usually in a hurry. Sometimes the office gets a bit hot in the summer, and we have to keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a humble place, and we don't try to pretend it’s anything else. We know our regulars by name, and we’ve been here long enough to see the neighborhood change over the years. It’s just a small, local travel business trying to do right by the people who walk through our door.
