Senior Medical & Health Officer

This is the office for the Senior Medical & Health Officer located over on Rajgorah Road. We are situated in the Beltola area of Guwahati, which is usually a pretty active part of town. Our address is in the 781028 area. It’s not a fancy medical center or anything like that, just a standard office where we handle the health-related work for the district. The building has been here for quite some time. You can find us along the main Rajgorah road. It gets a bit crowded with cars and people during the middle of the day. We have a small staff and we mostly just deal with the paperwork and the people who come in with questions. It’s a public service kind of place, so it feels very much like a regular part of the local government scene. We don’t have much in the way of decorations or anything. Just desks, chairs, and files. People from all over Beltola come through here. We see a lot of different things every week. Sometimes it’s quiet and other times it’s a bit of a rush. We just try to keep things moving. Guwahati is a big city and being in Rajgorah means we are right in the thick of it. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve been at this location for a long time and the locals know the spot well. It is just where we do our daily jobs.
