Satabdi Travel

Satabdi Travel is based in the Manipur Basti area of Guwahati. Our office is on GS Road, which is pretty much the main artery of the city, so it’s always busy outside. We are specifically located in the Lachit Nagar part of the road. It’s a small travel office where we spend our days looking up flights and trains. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of people who know their way around travel bookings. The office itself is quite simple. We have a few chairs for people to sit while we check things on the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out, that’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be the biggest travel agency in Assam. We just like helping people get where they need to go without making things too complicated. Being on GS Road means we get a lot of noise from the cars and buses, but it’s a good spot because everyone knows where Lachit Nagar is. We don't use any fancy travel slogans. We just sit with our customers and talk about their plans. Most of our work is done on old desks that have been here for years. It’s a very regular, local business feel. We just do our bit every day and then head home once the sun goes down. It’s straightforward work in a busy part of Guwahati.
