S. R. Industries

S. R. Industries is based out of Jindal House on Fatasil Main Road. If you know this road, you know it’s always crowded with people and traffic. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. Inside, we have our workspace where we make whatever it is we are producing at the time. It’s not a high-tech factory. We use regular tools and machines that have been around for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy working to worry about that. Most of the people who work here have been with us for a decade or more. We are like a small family. We drink our tea together in the afternoon and talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't use any corporate jargon or talk about things like efficiency in a fancy way. We just know that if we don't work, we don't get paid. It’s a straightforward way to live. Sometimes the machines break down and we all have to pitch in to get them running again. It’s just part of the day. We don't have a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We’re just a local business on a busy road, doing our best to get through the work we have each day.
