If you are looking for Numah Textiles LLP, you have to head over to the Ram Mandir area in Kamrup. We are located in Akashdeep Bhawan, way up on the sixth floor. It’s a bit of a trek if you don’t like elevators, but the view from the top is alright, even if it’s just looking out at other buildings and the busy streets below. Being in House Number 02 of such a tall building means we are right in the middle of everything. It gets quite noisy down on the street with the honking and people rushing to the temple or the market, but up here it’s a bit quieter. We focus on textiles, which is why we have stacks of samples and ledgers all over the place. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because we have so much stuff coming in and out, but we make it work. The office isn't anything special to look at—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of fabric. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator, which is just part of living in the city. We spend most of our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure the textile orders are moving. It’s a busy life, but being in the heart of Kamrup makes it easier to get things done quickly.
