NORTH EAST STEELS & STRUCTURES LLP

Our office is located at Jain Kunj, Flat No. 8, over on SJ Road in Athgaon. It’s part of the Sabita Jain building, and if you know the Athgaon area, you know how crowded it gets with all the commercial stuff going on. North East Steels & Structures LLP is right in the middle of that hustle. We deal with steel beams and structural components, though most of the heavy stuff is kept elsewhere because you couldn’t fit a truck down these streets easily during the day. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of calculators and people discussing dimensions over the phone. We have a few simple desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The air feels a bit heavy with the city heat, and we usually have a fan going constantly. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find expensive furniture. We focus on getting the iron and steel orders processed so the construction sites don't have to wait. There’s a lot of back and forth with the guys at the yard and the drivers. Athgaon is a bit of a maze, so we spend half our time giving directions to people trying to find us. It’s honest, tiring work that keeps the local building industry moving. Sometimes we stay late to finish the books, watching the street lights come on through the window. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the long year.
