Nabajyoti Welfare Foundation

Nabajyoti Welfare Foundation is located near the JNV school on the Rangia Dhamdhama Road. We are specifically in the Hariandab area, near Jamtola. It is a pretty active part of Rangia. We started this because we saw a lot of folks struggling with things that seemed like they could be fixed with a little extra effort. We aren't a big, fancy institution. We are just a group of people working out of House No. 11. Most days you’ll find us just talking to folks who stop by. We try to help with welfare issues, whether it's health-related or just helping someone navigate some local service. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished image. We are just regular people in the neighborhood. We know the road well and we know the families who live along it. It feels good to be able to offer a bit of support when someone is having a hard time. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just try to be useful every day. If we see a need, we do our best to fill it. That is how we operate. It’s simple and it’s honest. We are just glad to be here and helping out where we can. We don't expect much in return, just the satisfaction of seeing our community doing a little better each day.
