M/S Diya Store is located out in Guwahati. We are situated near the Satgaon Rail Line. If you are walking down Bhaskar Path in the Udayan Vihar area, you will see us. Our pin code is 781171. Being near the rail line means we hear the trains going by at all hours. It’s just a part of the day for us now. The shop is a simple building on Bhaskar Path. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a local store for the people who live here in Udayan Vihar. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the front because of the wind near the tracks. Guwahati can get pretty humid but we stay here and keep the fans running. People from the neighborhood stop in to chat or pick up a few things they forgot. M/S Diya Store has been a part of this street for a while. We know the families around here and they know us. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. People just know where we are because they see the sign when they are heading home. It’s a quiet life most of the time except for the trains. We just keep things running the best we can. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open for our neighbors.
