Kaberee Foundation

Kaberee Foundation is based at House Number 155A in Kamal Nagar. We are right on the GMCH Links Road, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are coming from the hospital area. Our post office is Indrapur, and we are situated in the Kamrup region of Guwahati. It’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people walking by all day. We’ve been in this house for quite some time now. It’s a two-story place, and we use the bottom part for our operations. We don't have much in the way of fancy decorations. There are some old wooden desks and plenty of shelves for our files. We focus on the practical side of things. Most of the work involves talking to people who come in off the street. Since we are so close to the main road, we get a lot of visitors. We try to help out whoever stops by, whether they need information or just a place to sit for a minute. We aren't a big organization with lots of branches. We just have this one spot in Kamal Nagar where we do our best. The staff is mostly local folks who live within walking distance. We like it that way because we understand the neighborhood. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around us in Guwahati. We're usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
