Har Gouri Steel

We have been here at National Highway- 38 for a good while now. Har Gouri Steel is just a regular place where we handle metal every day. It gets dusty being right on the highway in Howly, but we are used to it. The trucks come and go all day long. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time sweeping up iron filings than anything else. There are a few of us working here and we just try to get the orders sorted without making too many mistakes. It's loud, especially when the heavy loads are being moved around the yard. People from the district know where to find us because of the big sign out front. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic steel work and keeping things moving. My cousin used to work the gate, now it's just me and a couple of guys from the neighborhood. We drink tea when the weather gets too hot and keep at it. It's a living. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a mess, but that is just part of being in Howly. We have got a decent stock usually, but it depends on what the trucks bring in that week. If you pass by NH-38, you'll see us there with the piles of rods and sheets. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy, but we have been part of this community for a long time.
