Hanif Enterprises

Started this place a few years back here in Sonkuchi Colony. We aren't a big firm or anything, just a small setup near the Jehurpump Bazar. It gets pretty loud around here in the mornings when the market starts up. I remember when we first got the keys, the walls needed a lot of work and we did most of it ourselves on the weekends. Hanif Enterprises is basically just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get to the door because of the puddles near the main road, but we manage. People around here know us by name now. It’s not fancy. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get busy. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We have tea from the stall around the corner most afternoons. The address is easy to find if you know where the pump is. We've stayed in this same spot since the beginning because the rent is fair and we like the neighbors. There’s a lot of traffic during the festivals, so we usually open a bit earlier then. I don't really have a big speech about what we do, we just show up and get the work done. It’s a decent life and we’re glad to be part of the colony here. It’s been a long road, but we are still here every day.
