Gnrc Hospital

We are over here at 6 Mile in Guwahati. Most days it’s pretty busy outside with all the traffic coming through this part of town. If you’ve lived in Guwahati for a while, you probably know where we are because we’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The building is a regular part of the neighborhood. People come in at all hours, usually looking for help with something sudden or just their regular checkups. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but sometimes there’s a wait because that’s just how things go when a lot of people need seeing to. The staff here mostly grew up around these parts, so we know the locals well. It isn’t some fancy hotel; it’s just a place where doctors and nurses do their work every single day. We deal with the usual stuff you’d expect at a hospital. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we’re always open. Inside, it’s mostly just white walls and the sound of people talking. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just open the doors in the morning, or stay open all night really, and handle whatever comes through the entrance. It’s hard work and it gets tiring, but it is what it is. We’ve seen a lot of families come through over the years. Some are just passing through 6 Mile and others live right down the street.
