Ethnic Air Travels

Our office, Ethnic Air Travels, is tucked away at A-11, Zoo Narengi Road in the Sahib Tila area. It’s a bit of a climb up the hill to get to this part of Guwahati, but the air feels a little different up here. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years. The office is small and usually smells a bit like incense and old paper. We focus on air travel and getting people to where they need to go without making things complicated. We don't have a big reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and we talk across the table. It’s a practical way to do things. The road outside can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle. We know most of the people who live in Saheb Tila and they know where to find us. We aren't interested in being the biggest travel agency around. We just want to do right by the people who come to see us. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it’s so quiet you can hear the birds outside. We don't have a script for how we talk to people. We just say hello and see what they need. It’s a quiet, honest way to make a living in this part of town. We keep it simple and just keep going until the sun sets over the hill.
