Chenehi Tea Farm

Chenehi Tea Farm is run out of House No. 20 on Vrindavan Peth. This is over in the Survey Beltola area, which has a bit of a different feel than the middle of the city. We used a house for our office because it just felt more comfortable for everyone. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the samples and files, but we make it work. Most of the people around here know us as the local tea farm folks. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the actual growing sites while sitting here in Beltola. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on the numbers. We aren't doing anything corporate or high-level; it's just us trying to get the tea from the farm to the people who want to drink it. The porch is often used for sorting out small bags or just taking a break. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we moved into House No. 20. It feels more like a family business than a company most days. We don't have fancy marketing or anything like that. We just have our tea and the house where we do our business. It's a simple way of working, and we like it that way.
