Auric Bamboo Products Private Limited is our small company based at No 92-A on Narmada Nagarghawatighat Road. We work with bamboo all day long. It’s a versatile material, and we try to make different things out of it that people can actually use. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the saws and the raw bamboo poles. We spend most of our time cutting, sanding, and putting things together. The dust gets everywhere, but that’s part of the trade. Narmada Nagar is a decent spot for us because we have enough space to store the bamboo before we work on it. We aren't a big factory with machines doing everything; a lot of it is done by hand with simple tools. Sometimes things don’t come out perfect the first time, so we have to go back and fix them. That’s just how it is when you’re working with natural materials like bamboo. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we’re doing, they usually just walk into the workspace. It’s a noisy environment with the sounds of work going on from morning until evening. We’re just a local bunch of people trying to make a go of it by making things that last. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
