Sarbamangalam Foundation

Sarbamangalam Foundation is run out of Tapan Kakati’s place in Tetelia. It’s not a big office building or anything like that, just a regular house where we get together. Tetelia is a small spot, and we like it that way because we know everyone who lives around here. We started this because we felt like there were things in the neighborhood that needed a bit of extra attention. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of marketing stuff. We just talk to people. Most of our work happens right here on the ground. We don't have a lot of money to throw around, so we have to be smart about what we do. It’s just a few of us who put in some time after our regular jobs or on the weekends. Sometimes we meet under the trees if the weather is nice. It’s a very relaxed way of doing things, but we get the work done eventually. We aren't in a hurry to become some huge company. We just want to help out the folks in Tetelia. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. People know they can just walk up to the door if they need something. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we aren't going anywhere. It’s just us doing what we can.
