You can find us in Maligaon, specifically on the second floor of the Central Bank building right at Maligaon Chariali. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of exercise every day going up and down those stairs. We handle engineering and fabrication work, so the place is rarely ever quiet. There is usually the sound of metal being moved or the hum of machines running in the background. It is a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have some heavy tools and benches set up where the real work happens. The building itself is a landmark because of the bank, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We spend most of our time looking at diagrams or checking measurements. Fabrication is slow work if you want to get it right, so we don't rush through things. Our team is small, mostly guys who have been working with their hands for years. We get a lot of tea from the stall downstairs to keep us going through the afternoon slump. The air in Maligaon can get a bit thick with the traffic outside, but we just keep the windows shut and get on with the job. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done, making things out of steel and iron and trying to keep the workspace from getting too cluttered, which is a constant battle in this line of work.
