Our office is the North East Economicdevelopment Forum. We are located in the Geetanagar area of Guwahati. To find us, you have to go to the Geetanjali apartments on Zoo Road. We are in unit 1-F. We share the space with Rameswar Singh. Guwahati is a busy place, and Zoo Road is one of the busiest parts. There is always traffic and the sound of horns, but once you get inside the apartment, it’s relatively quiet. The zip code is 781020. We don't have a big corporate lobby. It’s just a regular apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace. There are books and papers everywhere because we spend a lot of time looking at numbers and reports about the economy here in the North East. We aren't a big team, just a few people who are interested in how the region is doing. We don't use a lot of fancy marketing talk because we don't need to. We just do our work and talk to the people who matter. Sometimes we have meetings around the kitchen table. It feels more natural that way. We've been in Kamrup for years, and we like being in the middle of everything. We aren't trying to change the world overnight; we are just looking at the facts and trying to understand the local situation. It’s honest, steady work. Most days, we just drink our coffee and get through the files without making any fuss.
