Nd24 is in the Necha Building at House Number 2. It’s located on Bhola Baba Path, right in the 6th Mile area of Guwahati. This part of the city is always full of energy and people moving around. We work in media and information, so being in a busy spot actually helps us stay connected to what's happening around us. The office is pretty basic. We have a few rooms filled with computers and screens. It can get a bit messy when we are busy with a big story or a deadline, but that's normal. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in and we get to talking. The staff here is like a small family. We spend a lot of time together, often staying late when something important is going on. We eat our meals together and discuss the news of the day. 6th Mile has everything we need close by, from tea stalls to stationery shops. We don't try to act like we are some massive global corporation. We just want to provide good information to the people who follow us. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things get a bit chaotic, but that's just the nature of the job. We keep it simple and focus on the daily tasks. It's a grounded place to work and we like the buzz of the neighborhood.
