Maa Durga Hotel

Maa Durga Hotel is located at House No 366 on the Zoo Tiniali Narengi Road in Guwahati. We are right opposite Shabtila Park on Zoo Road, which is a place many people visit on the weekends. Guwahati is a city that is always growing, and the traffic on Zoo Road can get quite heavy at times. Our hotel is a small place where we serve rice and traditional sides to whoever walks in. It is not the kind of hotel where you stay the night, but more of a local eating house that we call a hotel in this part of the country. The building is a regular house that we converted to fit a few tables and a kitchen area. We have been here for a while and have seen the road outside get wider and busier over the years. We don't use any fancy advertising, we just rely on the people who work in the nearby shops and those visiting the park. The kitchen gets quite hot in the humid Guwahati weather, but we keep the fans running for the customers. We focus on getting the food out quickly because most of our regulars are on their lunch breaks and don't have much time to linger. It is just a straightforward place for a honest meal in a busy part of town.
