About Imran Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in Kamrup Metropolitan
Imran Foundation is tucked away in the village and post office of Hazizuzua. We are based out of Inamul Hassan’s place. It’s a pretty standard village home, really. We didn’t see the point in getting a separate office when we could just use the space we already had. Most of us grew up around Hazizuzua, so we know the people and the problems they face every day. It's a quiet area, and news travels mostly by word of mouth. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of our work is done face-to-face, sitting on the porch or walking down the road. If you’re coming to see us, just look for Inamul’s house. People in the village can point you in the right direction if you get lost. We deal with practical things mostly. Life in a village like this doesn’t need a lot of complicated talk. We just try to be useful where we can. Sometimes that means helping a neighbor with paperwork or just being a spot where people can gather. We’ve been operating like this for a while now. It’s not glamorous, but it is real. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who care about the village. We take things one day at a time and try not to overcomplicate our lives or our work here. It's just how things go around here.
