Anand Rice Mill

We've been running Anand Rice Mill here at House No-1B/1P in the Industrial Growth Center for a while now. It's easy to find us if you look for the Lic Building in Maringa. Dealing with rice is what we do day in and day out. It's a busy spot but we manage. People often ask how we handle all the grain coming in from the trucks. Honestly, it's just about getting the work done and making sure the machines are running right. My uncle started this place because he knew the land around here. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It's dusty and noisy, but that is how a mill should be. We just focus on getting the rice ready for the local shops. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area and we have to wait, which is frustrating, but we get through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the state or anything. We just want to keep the local market supplied. If you're driving past the LIC building, you'll see our gates. Most days we are there from early morning until the sun goes down. The machines have their moods, just like people, so we spend a lot of time fixing things too. That’s just life here in Maringa. We keep it simple and keep moving.
