Xu Design Llp

Our studio is over at House Number 8, right on 12 Bye Lane off F Ali Ahmed Road. If you know the Puranbasti area, you’ve probably walked right past us. Xu Design Llp is a small design outfit. We do a bit of everything when it comes to visual stuff. It’s not a very big space, but it’s ours. We have a couple of desks shoved against the walls and a lot of sketches lying around. The neighborhood is usually pretty quiet, which helps when we’re trying to focus on a project. We didn't want to be in one of those tall office buildings downtown. We like being in a house where things feel more normal. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or drawing things out on paper. We take on all sorts of design jobs, some big and some tiny. It’s just how it goes for a local business. We don’t have a receptionist or anything; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We’ve been here for a bit now and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors. It’s a good spot to be. We just want to make things that look decent and work well for whoever asks us. It’s not more complicated than that. We just keep our heads down and keep designing. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but that's just part of the job.
