We've been out here in Nakachari for a while now. It's a quiet spot near Mariani, and that's where we handle everything for Toratoli Tea Producer Company Limited. Most days it’s just us working through the usual routine of getting tea ready. We aren't doing anything fancy or trying to be a big city brand. Our office is right by the post office here in Jorhat. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, but we keep at it. People know where to find us if they need anything. It’s a local operation, mostly just neighbors and folks from around the district helping out. We don’t have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. Just the workspace in Nakachari. It gets dusty, and the paperwork piles up, but that’s just how a small tea business goes. We focus on the daily tasks. If you’re ever passing through Mariani, you might see the sign. We’ve stayed in the same spot for quite some time because it works for us. There isn't much to say other than we're just a group of people making tea in a corner of Assam. We try to stay busy and keep the machines running when the power is good. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep the gates open during the day and try to get the bags loaded before it rains too hard. It's just a regular workplace where we get the job done.
