Tarun Hangsa Memorial Foundation

You can find us at House No-43 on Nijara Ban Patha in the Fatasilambari area of Guwahati. We’ve been in this house for quite a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Kamrup Metro, even though the city is growing so fast all around us. We started this foundation to keep the memory of Tarun Hangsa alive. He meant a lot to the people here, and we didn't want that to fade away as time went by. It’s mostly just family and friends running things. We don't have a big staff. Most days, someone is just sitting on the porch or in the front room handling whatever comes up. We try to help out people in the neighborhood when they run into trouble. It could be anything from help with school fees to just needing a bit of advice on a local matter. We don't have a website or anything polished. People just know where we are. Fatasilambari is a tight-knit community, and we like being part of it. The house number is 43, so it’s easy to spot once you get onto Nijara Ban Patha. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just doing small things right here at home. Sometimes we host small gatherings for the locals. It’s a very informal setup. We just do what we can with the little we have. We aren't pros at this, but we care a lot about the place we live.
