SWAHLEE TEXTILES AND APPAREL PRIVATE LIMITED

We operate out of House Number 2 on Surajuday Path. It is in the Bhagaduttapur area of Kahilipara, here in Guwahati. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it is quite peaceful most of the time compared to the city center. We focus on textiles and apparel, which basically means we deal with a lot of fabric and clothing designs. The house is where all the work happens. We have rooms filled with sewing machines, patterns, and stacks of cloth waiting to be turned into something. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our time is spent actually making things or checking the quality of the stitching. It is a small team, and we all help out with whatever needs doing, whether it is cutting fabric or packing up an order. Living and working in the same general area makes it feel more like a community project than a big corporation. We know the people on our street and say hello when we are out. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes things difficult, but we just keep going. It is honest work, and we take some pride in seeing the finished clothes. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make clothes and try to do a decent job of it. It is a busy but quiet life in Kamrup Metro.
