Our shop is located at House No. 30/31 on S.R.B. Road, right near the Bora Service Station in Paltanbazar. Guwahati is a crowded city, and being in Paltanbazar means we are right in the middle of it all. The P.S. Paltanbazar is the local police station nearby. We handle a mix of maintenance and construction, so there is always something breaking or needing a fresh coat of paint. S.R.B. Road is always busy, and sometimes getting a truck in or out of our place is a bit of a challenge. We don't have any fancy slogans. Our day usually starts early before the heat gets too bad. We check the list of what needs fixing and send the guys out. Maintenance is a never-ending job; once you finish one thing, another thing needs attention. The office is pretty basic, just some chairs, a couple of old desks, and a lot of logbooks. We keep track of everything in those books. It's a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Living and working in Kamrup means dealing with the humidity and the rain, which is always a factor in construction and repair. We just try to keep things running smoothly for the people who hire us. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. Most of our clients are just folks from the neighborhood or local businesses who need something patched up quickly.
