We’ve been running things out of this ground floor spot at House Number 53 for some time now. Being right on A.T. Road in Guwahati means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside our door. Most days, we are just busy with the usual paperwork and planning that comes with construction work. It’s not a big, shiny office, just a practical space where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to different sites. The Tokobari Satra area is pretty familiar to us, and we like being part of the local scene here in Kamrup. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for visitors to park, but we make do. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a group of us trying to get the jobs done right and keep track of all the supplies and labor. We handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff that people don't really see when a building is going up. The paperwork piles up on the desks, and the phones ring quite a bit, but that's just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years while we've been based here at the ground floor. If you walk past the house, you'll probably see us inside drinking tea or looking over some blueprints. It’s a straightforward operation we have going on, and we just focus on the projects we have in front of us.
