Shop East Fabrics Private Limited is tucked away in the G1 unit of Banjara Apartment. If you know the Zoo Road area in Guwahati, we are located right on Seuji Path. It’s a decent enough spot, though parking around here can be a real headache some days. We focus on fabrics, mostly handling the distribution and the basics of the trade. The apartment building is easy to find once you are on the right path. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Being on Zoo Road means we are fairly central, which helps with moving goods around the city. We’ve got a few people working here daily, mostly just keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when the delivery guys arrive. We don’t go for anything fancy or over-the-top. The walls are plain and we mostly just have shelves full of samples and old ledgers. Sometimes we get locals stopping by to ask what we do since there aren't many signs. We just tell them we handle fabrics and that's it. It’s a steady job and we’ve been at this location for a while now. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, with more shops opening up, but we just stay focused on our little corner. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We don't use big slogans or anything.
