Nidana Foundation

Our office is what we call The Nook. It is house number four in Ghoramara, right in the Bhetapara area of Guwahati. We have been in this part of Kamrup for quite a long time. It is a busy neighborhood now but it used to be much quieter. We like being centrally located because it makes it easy for people to reach us. We don't have a big corporate building. We just work out of this house. It feels more like a home than a place of business and that is how we like it. There are only a few of us here. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the work done. Every day is a bit different. Sometimes it is very quiet and other days we have a lot of people coming in and out. We don't have a formal mission statement or anything like that. We just do the work that comes our way. Assam is a beautiful place and we are glad to be working in the heart of it. We have seen Bhetapara change so much over the years. New shops and houses are popping up everywhere. But our little Nook stays the same. We are just plain folks doing what we can. It is a simple life and we are content with it.
