Our office is at House No.18 on Karmabir Path. It’s a quiet enough street in Rukmininagar, though Guwahati traffic is always a bit of a headache if you’re trying to get anywhere fast during the day. Mega Cube Associates Private Limited is basically just us working on various project plans and handling the admin side of things. We aren't one of those big firms with a hundred employees and a reception desk. It’s more of a small setup where we know everyone by name and their families too. Most of the time, we’re dealing with technical drawings or checking on site progress on our laptops. Rukmininagar is a good spot for us because it’s central but doesn't feel like the middle of the noisy market. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to drop our mail without even looking at the sign on the gate. Sometimes we sit out on the porch when the weather is nice to talk through a problem or a new project. The work involves a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and making sure everything is up to code. It’s not always easy, especially when prices for materials jump around every week. We just try to keep things steady and reliable. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in Assam, just to do our jobs right and stay busy. Life here is busy, but we find time to chat with the neighbors over the fence. It’s just how we do things.
