Meadilectus Foundation

Down in the Jayanagar area of Beltola, Guwahati, you’ll find the Meadilectus Foundation. We are located at House Number 16, at Ghana Kanta’s place on NIPCCD Road. It’s a residential area, so we’re right in the thick of the neighborhood. Our foundation is quite small, and we mostly focus on things that affect people living here in Kamrup Metro. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters. Instead, we use a few rooms in the house to manage our projects. It can get a bit noisy with the city traffic nearby, but we’re used to it. We spend our time working on various community issues, trying to be a useful resource for our neighbors. We aren't professionals in the sense of being polished executives. We’re just people who live in Guwahati and want to do something constructive. Sometimes our meetings are just a few of us having tea and writing notes in a ledger. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the essentials to keep things moving. People drop by now and then to ask what we’re up to or to see if we can help with something. We try to be as helpful as we can without making things overly complicated. It’s a quiet, local operation that keeps us busy and connected to the Jayanagar community. We are just here doing our part in the city.
