Lajo Impex Llp is right in the middle of all the noise in Fancy Bazar. If you know Guwahati, you know how crowded it gets around RCB Road. Our place is at House 91/2, right across from the New Market. It is a very busy area, always people shouting and trucks trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. We do a lot of import and export work from here. It is mostly paperwork and making sure the boxes get loaded correctly at the warehouse. The office isn't very big, and you can always hear the traffic outside. Sometimes it is hard to hear on the phone when the horns start blaring. We have been here for a while now, so we are used to the chaos. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how the market works. We spend our mornings checking lists and our afternoons talking to vendors. It gets dusty and loud, but that is just Fancy Bazar for you. There is no point trying to act like we are in some high-rise building. We are right here on the ground, dealing with the daily grind of trading. It is practical work and it keeps us on our feet all day. We just try to get the jobs done and go home when the market starts to close up for the evening.
