Kholta Agri Coldstorage Private Limited

We run this cold storage place in the Ghatpar area. Md. Asaduzzamankholta is where we usually meet up. It’s a necessary thing around here because the heat can really ruin a good harvest if it sits out too long. We spent a lot of time getting the building ready. It isn't the prettiest place you've ever seen, but it keeps things cool inside. People from all around Kotwali bring their stuff here. Sometimes it's a lot of potatoes, other times it's different vegetables. We have to watch the temperature pretty closely. If the power goes out, it’s a real headache for us. We try to stay on top of it so the farmers don't lose their money. It’s just a few of us working here day to day. We don’t have some big corporate team or anything like that. Just regular folks who know how important it is to keep food fresh. The road out here near the river can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. We’ve been here for a bit now and people know where to find us. It's a lot of lifting and moving crates around. Most of the work is done by hand or with small carts. We just keep our heads down and do the job because that's what needs doing. It’s hard work and it gets tiring, but it's important for the whole town.
