Out in Gohaibari, we’ve set up shop at Prasanta Kr Borthakur’s premises. It’s a quiet area compared to the bigger cities, which suits us just fine. Gibbon Infrastructures isn’t a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are a smaller group that focuses on getting infrastructure jobs done properly. We have our main office space here where we keep our records and plan out our schedules. Most of our days start early, before the sun is even fully up, especially when we have a big deadline. We work on roads, bridges, and other local projects that help the community get around better. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, but what we have is well-maintained and reliable. The people who work here are mostly from the surrounding villages. We know the land and we know what the soil is like, which helps when you’re building things. We don’t do a lot of talking or marketing. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we’ve built in the past. It’s a humble way to run a business, but we prefer it that way. We just want to do a decent job and go home to our families at the end of the day. Gohaibari is a good place to be based, and we feel like we belong here. The days are long, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It's honest work.
