You can find us in Narengi, at Smt Satyabati Kalita’s place. Deesha Computer Education And Association is a small local setup we started because we saw a need for it in the neighborhood. We don't have a massive building or anything like that. It’s just a few rooms where we have set up some workstations. Most of the people who come here live just a few streets away. We keep things very simple. We show people how to use a computer, how to get online, and how to use basic programs. It’s not a high-tech lab. The computers are a few years old, but they work fine for what we need. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. You just walk in and we find you a spot to sit. Smt Satyabati Kalita is a well-known name around here, so that helps people find us. The atmosphere is very casual. We often have the radio playing softly in the background while people work. It’s a bit cramped when we have more than five or six people, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just want to be a place where someone can come and not feel intimidated by technology. We’ve been part of the Narengi community for a bit now and we plan to stay right here. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We hope to keep the doors open for everyone.
