Chakshu Welfare Foundation

You can find Chakshu Welfare Foundation at House Number 21 in Kamakhya Nagar. We are located care of B B Kakati. To get here, you usually take Dinesh Ojha Path through the Bhangagarh area. It is a bit tucked away, which is nice for when we need to concentrate on our work. The foundation has been operating from this house for a bit now. It doesn't look like a typical office from the outside since it’s just a home in the neighborhood. We think that makes people feel more comfortable when they come to see us. B B Kakati is usually around to help coordinate things. Bhangagarh is always moving, but Kamakhya Nagar feels a little more like a community. We do various welfare tasks from this small office. It’s not a huge operation with dozens of employees. It is just a few dedicated people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at desks piled with folders. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain is loud on the roof, but we keep at it. People from around Dinesh Ojha Path know where we are if they need to drop anything off. We like being a local foundation that actually lives where we work. It keeps us grounded and connected to the people who live nearby in Bhangagarh. We don't need fancy signs to show we are here doing our part for the folks around us.
