Our hospital is tucked away on Adalat Path in the Panjabari area of Guwahati, specifically at House No-15. If you know the Botahghuli neighborhood, we are right in that mix. It’s a residential-feeling street but it gets quite a lot of traffic because of where we are situated in Kamrup. We focus on critical care, so the atmosphere inside can be quite serious, but we try to keep things grounded. The building itself is a standard house that’s been converted into the hospital space we need. It has its quirks, like certain doors that creak or a hallway that feels a bit narrow when we are moving equipment around. Most of the staff live nearby, so they don't have to deal with too much of the Guwahati traffic to get to their shifts. We spend a lot of time monitoring machines and checking on patients throughout the night and day. It’s a twenty-four-hour kind of job, so someone is always awake and working in the office or on the floor. We don't have a big reception with coffee machines and fancy rugs, just a desk and some benches for people to sit on while they wait for news. The neighbors on Adalat Path are used to us being here by now, and things are generally quiet on our street after the sun goes down, except for the occasional ambulance or delivery truck. We just try to do our work without making too much of a fuss.
