Baby Rhino Studios Llp is tucked away in Azara, Guwahati. Our space is at H No.210, right where Ganesh Chandra Sarma lives in Boripara. It’s a local spot, not far from the main road but quiet enough to get some thinking done. We called it Baby Rhino because of the local connection, I guess. We do our studio work right here in this house. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The neighborhood is friendly. You can hear the sounds of the city GHY17 in the distance, but Boripara itself stays pretty calm. We have some equipment set up in the back room. It’s not a high-end professional studio with soundproofing on every wall, but it serves the purpose for what we do. We spend a lot of time just tweaking things on our computers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to take a break, which is fine. It gives us a chance to stretch our legs. We don’t have a big team. It’s just a few people who like being creative and staying busy. We’ve been at this Azara address for some time now. People sometimes drop by to ask what we’re working on. We just tell them we’re making things. It’s a good life, even if it’s a bit messy sometimes. We just keep moving forward. That’s how we operate every single day.
