Asomi Institute Of Education Service Private Limited is based out of Karim Chowk, right in Ward No 6. We are located at Gopal Kakati’s place. It is a familiar spot for anyone living in this part of town. The building is older and has that lived-in feel. We have set up a few classrooms inside. It’s not a fancy institution with a lot of glass and steel. It’s more like a house that’s been converted into a school. We teach various subjects and help people get their certificates or just learn something they didn't know before. The rooms are a bit small, and we have to move the chairs around sometimes to make everyone fit. It gets quite warm in the summer, so we have a few fans going all day. Gopal is often around, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look as long as the teaching gets done. Most of our students are locals from the nearby streets. They drop by after their chores or jobs. We spend our time checking papers and explaining things on the chalkboard. It’s a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been here for a good while and the neighbors are used to seeing the students coming and going. It is just a regular part of life at Karim Chowk. We appreciate the people who come here to learn with us.
