You can find us near Nandan Commercial College over in Maligaon Chariali. It’s in the Bharali Para area of Guwahati. Ashtha Lakshmi Infratech has been operating out of this spot for a bit now. We do a lot of infratech projects, which basically means we are always around dirt, trucks, and heavy machinery. The traffic around Maligaon is always a bit of a mess, so we spend a lot of time planning our routes. We don't have any big, shiny advertisements. Most people just know us from seeing our work around the Kamrup district. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks covered in maps and site photos. We keep things pretty simple here. Everyone on the team has a role, whether it’s checking the supply list or talking to the guys on the site. Construction can be unpredictable, so we’ve learned to be flexible when things don't go exactly as planned. We deal with the local weather, which usually means a lot of heat or a lot of rain. It’s just the nature of the business in Assam. We try to keep our heads down and do the work right. Sometimes the days are very long, especially when we are trying to finish a phase of a project before the monsoon hits. We aren't anything fancy, just a group of people who know how to build stuff and keep the projects moving forward. We take it one day at a time and focus on the current task.
